a thought about the end of the world (AI, capitalism, & laurie anderson)
thinking a lot about capitalism and the death of it and AI.
then watched an interview thing where someone was asked 'how do you think/want the world to end?'
started thinking about high rise. capitalism outruns itself and everything goes to shit. will this b a state of being satisfied & fulfilment? will people really go batshit crazy and kill and rape etc? i think people may go crazy at the beginning with trashing shops like any other riot you see on the news but would people calm down and keep to themselves?
Kind of relaxes me to think of it this way.
also maybe 'o superman' contributes to this thought bc to me its a weirdly sad yet comforting song?? I always imagine laurie anderson as a cyborg on a hill but like a junk hill like at some junk yard and theres nothing left in the world except a giant junk yard and everything is burning but its nice? that's how the song makes me feel.
