Prints

I made some small pieces of art to be made into prints and I think that some of them say a lot about my style process and what I like, so I decided to put them on here so I can establish that and use it for other things too.
These two were both paintings that I scanned in and went over the colours using photoshop. I like the colours used and the style. For the eye piece I like the eyelash effect. With the orange piece I like the body design with the Xs and orange is also a good colour.


With these, I like the line/labyrinth lines used. This is something that has carried on from previous projects, like the multi screen I did at the end of 1st year, with inspiration from Keith Haring. 
These small features, to me, are things that I want reoccurring in my current work (maybe) as they express certain things in my life at the minute.

I decided that one of the main things I wanted to do this summer was get more into physical art and painting again after, what was possibly, a year long (or maybe even longer) hiatus.  Other than sketches and a few good painting pieces, I felt like i hadn't really ever developed my style and felt lost in terms of what I wanted to paint and how I wanted to do it, so I knew I needed to find inspiration and look into other works.  Digging through the depths of artists online was difficult, as I found I was redirected to the same few famous artists and I couldn't really find anything visually I liked this way, so I decided to go down the traditional route and go to the library. This way I could find a good base and maybe then go on to research deeper and find other crevices online.
