Heroes/Hero/Neu!/Motorik

I was sat at the drs waiting 2 get a blood test and looked at my phone which listening to heroes and thought the notes from the genius thing they do on the app was interesting, so later I went back and screenshotted them. The one I saw in the waiting room was photo 4.
i also went on the website genius.com as I wanted to see if that was on there before going through the whole song on spotify to find the specific part I read.
while reading the notes on the song, I found that it was heavily inspired by 'Hero' by the band Neu!.
I listened to it and thought it was Gud lol. I then looked at the genius page and came across the terms 'Motorik' and 'Ostinato'.
Motorik (meaning 'motor skill' in German) is the 4/4 beat, often used by krautrock bands. The beat was pioneered by the drummer of the band 'Can'. The beat is of moderate pace & the pattern is repeated through each bar & a crash symbol is often hit at the beginning bar of a verse or chorus.
beat diagram from wikipedia:
"The name may derive from the repetitive yet forward-flowing feel of the rhythm, which has been compared to the experience of driving on a motorway."

Krautrock is a genre of experimental rock that developed in Germany during the late 1960s. Draws on sources like psychedelia, avant garde, funk, electronic. Key artists of the genre include Can, Neu!, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, and Faust.

Ostinato is a motif or phrase that persistently repeats. Well known ostinato pieces include classical pieces like Revel's 'Bolero' and popular ones like 'I Feel Love' by Donna Summer.
