This video came up on my recommended and i decided to click on it because the imagery and connotations of cigarettes had previously interested me and had been something i was thinking about. It was really cool and i like the art style. made me think of what it would be like to paint/smudge smoke on photos so i tried with this photo and i think it turned out pretty cool.  I then smudged the face & also has a cool look to it.

☆  can also be known as pattern or shape poetry. ☆  the term 'concrete poetry' is modern, however using arrangement to compliment meaning of a poem is old. ☆  popular in Greek Alexandria (2nd largest city in Egypt) during the 2nd and 3rd centuries of BCE (before the common era). only a handful still survive, examples include poems by Simmias of Rhodes in the shape of an egg, wings, and a hatchet. ☆  The post classical revival of shaped poetry has been claimed to began with the Gerechtigkeitsspirale which is a relief carving of a poem church of St. Valentin in Germany in a spiral shape. It was created in 1510 by Erhart Falkener and in the late Gothic style. George Herbert's 'Easter Wings' (1633). resembles angels with outstretched wings.

Heroes/Hero/Neu!/Motorik

Image
I was sat at the drs waiting 2 get a blood test and looked at my phone which listening to heroes and thought the notes from the genius thing they do on the app was interesting, so later I went back and screenshotted them. The one I saw in the waiting room was photo 4. i also went on the website genius.com as I wanted to see if that was on there before going through the whole song on spotify to find the specific part I read. while reading the notes on the song, I found that it was heavily inspired by 'Hero' by the band Neu!. I listened to it and thought it was Gud lol. I then looked at the genius page and came across the terms 'Motorik' and 'Ostinato'. Motorik (meaning 'motor skill' in German) is the 4/4 beat, often used by krautrock bands. The beat was pioneered by the drummer of the band 'Can'. The beat is of moderate pace & the pattern is repeated through each bar & a crash symbol is often hit at the beginning bar of a verse or ...

Typed up interesting lines/phrases with type writer. Also tried again to see if anything new came up - most lines were the same but still got some interesting words  This bit that I typed randomly together seemed cool so took a photo before separating lines. I thought about adding 'our brand' down the side of a stanza, however changed this. final poem i decided upon. Then did another, but fully random where I put what I picked up. natura mothernature & other magical stuff

the word 'nature' comes from the Latin 'natura' meaning birth & character. 'natura' and the personification of Mother Nature was widely popular in the middle ages. As a concept, seated between the properly divine and the human, it can be traced to Ancient Greece, through Earth (Eorthe in the old english period) may have been personified as a goddess. The Norse also had a goddess called Jord. Roman Epicuran poet Lucretius opens his didactic poem 'De rerum natura' by addressing Venus as a veritable mother of nature Clairoyance (from French 'clair' meaning clear and 'voyance' meaning vision) one who sees clearly
